For us, sustainability is not a communications topic but a production choice that starts with the selection of raw materials.
Our pots are made from recyclable polypropylene (PP) raw material. Using recycled PP reduces demand for virgin plastic and, in turn, the carbon footprint of production. When processed correctly, its mechanical strength is on par with virgin raw material.
A long-lasting product matters at least as much as recycling. A pot without UV additives becomes brittle within a season and turns into waste. Serinova pots are made UV-resistant, keeping their color and strength for years. For more on this topic, see our article on plastic pots and UV.
Serinova is a SEDEX member. This membership means our production processes, from working conditions to occupational health and safety, from business ethics to environmental impact, are independently auditable and transparent. We meet our international customers’ supply chain expectations within this framework.
We carry out all of our production in line with European standards. Our approach, which puts quality and efficiency first, goes hand in hand with competitive prices and short lead times.
